At the Örkelljunga health center, about 20 employees work with 6000 registered patients. We have specialists in general medicine, ST and AT doctors. We have several training doctors within ST and also AT doctors with supervision and support. Every week we also have rounds with home care and nursing homes. In addition, we run nurse and district nurse clinics for asthma/COPD, diabetes, elderly care, smoking cessation, and blood pressure monitoring. There is a Family Center with an associated BVC clinic. Furthermore, we have a very well-functioning collaboration with our physiotherapy clinic with physiotherapists and occupational therapists, as well as with our counselor with a CBT focus. We are developing the rehab coordinator role to become part of the sick leave processes.

Örkelljunga has good bus connections with Ängelholm, Hässleholm, and Helsingborg. There are also plenty of free parking spaces. We have large old premises where there is an examination room and a private office.

JOB DESCRIPTION

We now have the opportunity to welcome a specialist doctor in general medicine to our team!

We have a nursing home and home care, where we have developed collaboration around rounds. We offer supervision for both ST and AT doctors. There is also a BVC that is part of the family center located upstairs. You could say that the care here is as close to rural medicine as you can get in Skåne. We have an ambulance at the clinic every week.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a pronounced service mindset and always has the patient in focus. Of course, you have a genuine interest in people and good communication skills. Furthermore, it is important that you can collaborate and are flexible as we are a smaller workplace. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.

To be considered for the position, you must be a licensed physician and a specialist in general medicine with the authority to practice within Swedish healthcare. Language skills in Swedish corresponding to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale are a requirement.
